InfoPass is a online system USCIS provided that enables people to schedule an appointment with immigration officer at USCIS domestic offices. It's a convenient tool for applicants who have questions need in-person assistance about their case status or general immigration questions.
However, self-scheduling through InfoPass is no longer available since September 2019. The reason was that USCIS believed most applicants scheduled appointments not necessarily and could have been assisted online or over the phone.
How to schedule a in-person meeting with USCIS under new system?
Under the new system (now called InfoMod), applicants need an in-person appointment must call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 first to get a case update and request to meet a USCIS officer in person at a local USCIS field office.
