You will need to choose between the CR-1 Spousal Visa and the K-3 Spousal Visa. For most people the CR-1 is the better option, and the K-3 might not even be available.

The K-3 visa will ultimately cost you much more because after your spouse arrives on the K-3 visa you must file the Adjustment of Status to receive the green card. This step is not necessary to receive the green card with the CR-1 visa.

The Government of the United States has no special requirements for the marriage of its nationals in other countries or to nationals of other countries. For a foreign marriage to be recognized in the United States, the marriage must be legal in the country and jurisdiction where effected, and prior marriages terminated.

Beware of the Mom & Pop Processors

Stay away from the many amateur processors out there with a website but no physical office, business license or employees! We have helped many customers who first wasted money on one of these mom & pop processors trying to run a business from their kitchen table.  Some of these processors are not even in the United States. The USCIS will normally change a K-3 petition to a CR-1 without your consent. The total cost for a K-3 is actually more than the CR-1 because it must be followed with the Adjustment of Status.
