| I-131 | Application for Travel Document (Advance Parole): Needed if alien wishes to travel outside the US during the I-485 process. Can be filed concurrently with the I-485 or afterwards with a separate filling fee. |
| I-765 | Application for Employment Authorization (Work Permit). Only if applicant desires work authorization while I-485 is pending. Can be filed with the I-485 or afterwards with a separate filling fee. |
