Where to pay the Embassy fee:All fees for consular services must be paid in full at the time of service in either USD or the equivalent CFA. The exchange rate is set weekly by U.S. Embassy Dakar. Clients paying fees in CFA may face a rate slightly less favorable than the market exchange rate. The Consular cashier will provide you with the weekly CFA rate at the time of payment. The Consular Cashier is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until noon and Tuesdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and 2:00 to 4:00.

Local language documents need translated: All documents must be in English or accompanied by an English translation. All documents must be submitted in original or certified copy with one photo copy of each. Incomplete applications may be asked to return at a later date.

Medical Examination Fee:About 70,000 CFA (35,000 for consultation, 5,000 for blood tests, 25,000 for chest x-ray, 7,000-10,000 for vaccination)
This does not include the estimated 30,000 CFA for transportation to each location.

Embassy appointment scheduling method: Visa application at the U.S. Embassy in Dakar, Senegal, you must call the U.S. Visa Information Service (USVIS) at (+221) 33-869-63-00.

Medical appointment scheduling method: Applicants should make an appointment by calling at least five(5) working days prior to their interview w/ one of the physicians listed on their site.
