Taking Advice From Family Immigration Forums

27 Dec 2018

There are a couple very good, very helpful communities of self-help folks that are full of people just like you, going through this process and sharing their experiences. Sites like VisaCommunity.com or VisaJourney. To touch on VisaJourney – we have worked with their owners for years and are even an endorsed service on their site. There are tons of very helpful people in that community that truly want to simply help out and make their experience useful to others. Many of our customers are members of that community, and contribute to it as well.

However, there is a small offshoot of people who really just don’t believe people should pay for a service like RapidVisa, for whatever reason, and they tend to attack us anytime they can. Take these comments with a grain of salt – any comments from people who haven’t ever used our service aren’t really adding anything to the conversation. These folks simply don’t understand the service that RapidVisa offers.

Our 50+ staff get up each day, go to work, and change people’s lives. We take great pride in the fact we’ve helped over 40,000 families reunite in the US all for a fraction of the price that an attorney charges. If you have a lot of free time, and you’re legal-savvy, and simply want to save a few hundred bucks by doing it yourself, hey, more power to you. But there’s also no shame in wanting to unload the bulk of this burden onto RapidVisa, for a flat, low fee, and letting us take care of it for you.

One thing to be careful of when reading information in these forums is outdated information. In fact, there is a lot of outdated information still out there, being incorrectly perpetuated by self-proclaimed experts. Be sure to check the dates of posts you’re reading, and actually, check the date of the source people are posting. They think that because the way they did it a year or 2 ago was one way, that it still is that way. That simply isn’t true. In fact, a ton of things in immigration have changed in the last year, and a lot has even changed in the last few months, and it will continue to change.

Keep in mind most of these self-proclaimed “experts”have been through this process exactly one time. Our agents here have gone through this process over 40,000 times, in fact, we’ve already helped over 7,000 so far in 2018 alone. We have people on call, with timely alerts set up and ears to the ground of immigration for the constant changes. We are on top of these changes 7 days a week. We all do this full-time. So just understand, when you hire us, you’re paying for this up-to-date knowledge.
